Inventory
Register an item and its stock, transfer quantity between locations, and link use to a request or contract when materials appear.
Inventory tracks items and quantities on the account. You use it when materials appear on a maintenance request or a service contract. If inventory is later turned off, materials already saved on a contract can still show for reading.
Items and movement
Under items, add a name, unit, and opening quantity as the form shows. Open the item to see stock and movements. Do not adjust stock in a free-text note; log a movement or a transfer so the history can be reviewed.
A stock transfer moves quantity from one location to another, or to a provider when that appears on your account. Finish the transfer from the list; do not leave it hanging after stock leaves the shelf.
Note: Using a material on the request profile updates the total when the account calculates it. Recheck the total on the profile after you add a line.
Do not put supplier purchase prices or wholesale invoices in a public how-to. The item name and the quantity the team sees are enough.
Read service contracts and maintenance requests for where materials sit on those screens.
