Working Calendar

Set the account timezone and working weekdays, then add blackout periods so booking, inspection forms, and preventive plans skip unavailable days.

Working Calendar is the sidebar name for this screen. Open it under Preventive Maintenance Plans. Use it to set the account timezone, mark regular working days, and add blackout periods.

The visit calendar still shows request times for the week. Manage weekdays and blackouts here, not from that week view.

Working schedule

Set the account timezone first. Working Calendar dates and times follow that zone.

Then mark each weekday as working or non-working. A non-working weekday stays unavailable on public forms, the customer app, the dashboard, inspection-form generation, and preventive plans that use the Working Calendar — unless a maintenance-request priority is allowed to bypass blackouts in account settings.

Save the schedule after you change days or the timezone.

Blackout periods

A blackout period is an extra closed day, range, or daily window. Add one from this screen: choose the restriction type, category, dates or hours, and Applies to.

On All branches, the blackout list shows a branch column and a branch filter. A named header branch already scopes the list. The visit calendar week view is unchanged.

If a restriction is added from the visit calendar settings (no Applies to field), it closes every channel. Narrow it here afterwards. Existing account blackouts already cover all five channels.

  • All channels closes the same window on every channel.
  • Specific channels lets you limit the row to QR requests, the dashboard, the Customer App, inspection forms, or preventive maintenance.
  • Excluded services keep a blackout from applying when every selected service is on that exclusion list.

A blackout does not cancel requests already logged. Review those visits on the request profile.

A service provider's blackout starts on all channels. Account administrators can later limit it to selected channels. It applies only when that provider is selected, and it does not block other providers.

Note: Allowing past dates only widens the date window. Non-working weekdays and applicable blackouts stay unselectable unless the selected priority may bypass blackouts.

Plans that follow this calendar

New inspection plans and preventive maintenance plans use the Working Calendar by default. Existing plans keep their previous behavior until you turn the calendar on for that plan.
