Service provider groups
Create a group, add members, and use it when the account assigns a team to a request instead of one person.
A group gathers service providers who work together: a shift, a trade, or a branch team. Use it when your account assigns a team and distributes work inside it — not when every request always goes to one name.
List and members
Under service provider groups, add a group with a name operators will recognize. Open it and add members from the account’s providers. Remove a member who left instead of deleting the group if old requests still refer to it.
Do not put a provider in a group for a service they do not perform. Assignment on the request profile shows what the account allows: a person or a group.
Note: A group does not replace the provider profile. Keep mobile and availability current on the individual profile so notifications reach the right person.
