Tracking service providers
Read tracking status on the map during a visit, and ask the provider to turn on lasting location if they disappear from the map.
Tracking shows a service provider’s location while they execute a request, when the account enables it and the provider grants location. You see it on the dashboard or tracking status. It does not replace the request number.
What the map means
Pins or paths belong to providers currently on duty. If tracking is off, no location appears even when the request is in progress. Turn tracking on from the location tools when your role allows, or ask the provider to enable it in their app profile after granting lasting location.
Open the request profile to see which address they should reach. A map without a request number will not settle a delay dispute.
Tip: Do not share a map snapshot outside the team. Live location is operational data.
What to read next
- Assignments — turn on lasting location from the provider app.
- Maintenance requests — address and time live on the request profile, not the map alone.
- Dashboard — the map also appears in the daily summary when tracking is on.
