The maintenance calendar
See visit times on the calendar, and close days or services with blackouts so nobody books an unavailable slot.
The maintenance calendar shows request visits on days and hours. Use it to plan the week. It does not replace the request profile when you need notes or assignment.
Reading the week
Open the calendar from maintenance requests. Each event belongs to a request: number, time, and property when shown. Click the event to open the request profile and change the visit or the provider there.
Filter by service or branch when those filters appear so two teams’ visits do not mix. Times follow the account timezone as shown on screen; do not convert them by hand to another zone.
Closing days or services
A blackout stops public and customer forms from picking a day or window when the blackout applies to that service. Add a blackout from the calendar: set the days or the service if asked, then save.
- Use a blackout for a public holiday or for lift work that blocks visits in the building.
- Do not black out a day to hide an existing request; change that request’s visit on its profile.
- A blackout does not cancel requests already logged; review the list after you add one.
Note: If the account allows past dates on public forms, blacked-out days stay unselectable in both directions. Do not use a blackout to hide an overdue visit; handle that request on its profile.
