Custom fields
Define extra fields your account needs on properties, contracts, assets, materials, or maintenance requests.
Custom Fields let you add information Nabeeh does not track out of the box — a property's parking slot label, a contract's internal reference number, a material's supplier lot number — without asking for a product change.
Open Custom Fields from account settings. Each field belongs to one context — maintenance request, asset, material, property, or contract — and only appears on that kind of record.
Field types
Choose a type when you create the field: text, long text, whole number, decimal, single choice, multiple choice, checklist, or file. Choice-based types let you define the list of options the field offers. A file field accepts an image, video, PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, or PowerPoint upload on the record form.
Mark a field required to block saving the record until it is filled in, and Show in List Table to add it as a column on that record's list (with a default of shown or hidden). On the assets list, a file column shows the filename — click it to view the file, download it, or open it in a new tab.
Fill in a custom field
Once a field exists for a context, it appears near the bottom of that record's create/edit form — for example on a property's edit page or a maintenance contract's basic details tab.
Maintenance-request fields can also appear on the printed report. From account settings open Maintenance Request Print Templates, turn on Custom Fields, then select the fields to include.
